Jiu Jitsu in Greystone - Gracie Barra BJJ

I have been training with GB Greystone for a few months now, and this is by far the best gym I have ever been a part of. Facilities are extremely clean, great A/C for the Alabama heat, very welcoming staff, gym members are super helpful and kind, wonderful location, plus there are multiple time-slots to fit any schedule. I strongly recommend this sport for any person who likes solving puzzles, wants a physical challenge/change, or is tired of the same boring sports we played in high school. My wife has done her own trial class and looks forward to joining the gym herself. So if you have interests or have any questions, simply ask or pop in the gym and see what GB Greystone BJJ is about.

Incredible place of learning and acceptance. The instructors are all highly professional and truly caring. You never feel out of place here. I have felt an overwhelming sense of belonging and have never felt judged at all for my weight. The instructors are top of their game and truly have your best interests at heart. These gentlemen are the very best and I highly recommend this program for adults and children alike! Their dedication to the sport is awe-inspiring. I have learned so much in just a short time. I would give Professor Frank and Professor Cole a hundred stars if I could! Do yourself a favor and join Gracie Barra Greystone!

These guys are offering a service second to none! I’ve never liked gyms. Always exercised alone or in team sports. I went out on a limb and tried something new to my world with BJJ GB Greystone. Frank and Cole are fantastic professors that are extremely knowledgeable. I personally do the morning classes which Cole runs and he has an excellent balance of patience and expectations. I get nothing but satisfaction spending time at this gym. Great group of folks I’ve been training here about 9 months and I feel right at home with this Gracie Barra family. I chose to try this because I wanted a fun and effective way to workout, and I can honestly say one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It is amazing that by about 2PM every day, I am mentally sharper if I have trained that morning. And if I didn’t go in, I find decision making harder. I’m definitely more reactive of a person without class. I bring this up to stress the impact that this training has had on my life that it literally makes every day better. Super thankful for the gym and highly recommend trying it! Being in a room full of Alpha type folks makes us all grow as individuals. Folks who balance healthy competition with individual growth, it really feels like a team sport, and a tight knit family. Keep it up guys thanks for everything you do! -Ben

Our kids have been to a few different martial arts studios, this one is great. Lots of kids go there, and the coaching staff are friendly but don't let them get away with disrupting class. They have learned a lot in a short time compared to their last martial arts gym and have stuck with it for way longer than I expected. Would definitely recommend for kids BJJ

The instructors and more importantly culture of this gym is one of the best I have ever seen. They are family oriented, and very good with children and adults. Whether you want to lean up and look better, or become a finely tuned competitor, this is a great place. Frank and Cole are great.
