reviewsWhat Members Say
Members consistently praise the gym's clean, well maintained facilities and state of the art equipment, with many noting the staff as particularly pleasant and welcoming. Reviewers highlight the value of the 21 and older area for serious lifting without crowding, and appreciate luxury amenities like saunas, steam rooms, and coffee stations. Some express frustration with persistent hot tub maintenance issues in the women's area that management has struggled to properly fix, while others humorously note occasional sauna crowding by regular groups. Overall, members describe a high end gym experience with excellent equipment and friendly staff, though with occasional facility maintenance concerns.

This club is great for lifting. They have all sorts of machines that they don’t have at the other two clubs in Anchorage. They just opened the new 21 and older area which is quiet and allows for more people to freely lift because now they have multiple free weight areas so it feels less crowded. I recommend this club to anyone who is serious about lifting.

I have been going to the summit several times a week over the last year. Pluses no kids on this side! Coffee station and tea station included. Thanks for having tea. Not everyone likes coffee! Facility is clean and well managed. Wish they had the red lighter therapy on the summit side too so I didn't have to go on the other side. That be a plus. But overall its a nice place to workout. Womens and men's both have sauna, hot tub and steam room. There are however a group of women that come everyday multiple times a day and flood the sauna. No idea how they stay in there that long. But they try to crop it open with their sandles! 😆 🤣 Which is a no go! So if you go try to avoid the times their massive group takes it over.

I like a lot about the Summit Club, but the hot tub in the women's room has not worked properly for years. Just a hot bath with bad jets. They fixed it for a week or two, and it is right back to being bad. Instead of really fixing it, they threw up their hands and said it was fixed. It is not. They just don't know how to fix it. Women should get a discounted rate for this. I adjusted my rating because I thought a 2-star rating was too harsh. It is a beautiful club, but it is very upsetting to be told something is working when we all know it is not. It is insulting. I am not sure how else to respond to your response, but I think you have two people unhappy with this. I did not communicate with the General Manager. That must have been someone else. I can say that I was a Summit member back when the jets worked well (several year ago), and I was a member of the Summit for several years at that time, and the jets worked very well for all those years. They no longer work well at all. They briefly worked well a couple of weeks ago, and several of us were very excited to see that it was finally fixed only to have go back to barely moving the water again. As an employee of the club, I would suggest that managers actually get into each of the hot tubes and see for themselves. Calling that fixed is unexpectable. Thank you for having it reviewed again, but again, I suggest you may want to check it out personally after hours.
