I have been doing jiu jitsu for now a year. Love every moment of the hard training. It is worth every penny. I love the people. The instructors are very good. You become family to the instructors and fellow trainees within Gracie Barra. If you want to travel locally, nationally, and internationally, you can with a visitors pass.

I've personally been a memeber at GB for the past 8 months and TBH, its been completely life changing. Now all three of my kids and wife go together. The professors and coaches are amazing, and the entire school is welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend their kids program! My kids are finally interested in something other than video games... They would go every day if I could take them. Just go try it and come to your own conclusion, but me and my family aren't going anywhere. We found a home at GB North Phoenix!

My daughter had been going here for a good couple months and she is loving it. I love that they teach them about respect and disciplined. She is not only learning that but leaning how to protect herself. Highly recommend

My sons that are 4&6 go here and they are wonderful!! They have learned so much, have gained patience and discipline. They are such a strong community and always make you feel welcome

BJJ changed my life for the better! I feel so much more confident, so much more flexible! I used to be much heavier, couldn't touch my toes, always had back pain...etc. I thought it was too late to start BJJ at 33 but here I still am and feeling better than ever! All the coaches and professors here are amazing people who truly care about effective and safe training. If you've ever thought about joining, if you want to get more flexible, if you want to live a better life and meet extraordinary, big hearted people, I can't recommend this gym enough! You will feel so proud to wear the Gracie Barra Gi, people will know you're part of one of the most recognized names in the sport! 8/14/2025 After a year and a half of training I got my Blue belt! Almost gave up plenty of times but just kept trying to be 1% better every training 💪🏼
