Our daughter has been working with the team at JSK for most of her life, and we highly recommend this studio. They specialize in ITF style taekwondo and have created a great community. The team, Mr. Joe, Mr. Josh, and Kate are really incredible. They really treat all their students with respect and help them be the best version of themselves, through hard work, discipline and an inclusive and positive environment. We have travelled with this team both nationally and internationally, and it has had such a positive impact on our daughter to see them leading by example with respect, confidence and integrity in both a tournament and practice setting. Highly recommend this studio.

JSK Taekwondo is our families third place. We have been here three times a week for over three years because of the community they have built within their studio. Our daughter has learned so much from the instructors. Along with learning Taekwondo and self defense, she has developed leadership skills and self-discipline that will guide her throughout her life. We are so appreciative of Mr Joe and Mr Josh and the community they have developed at JSK.

My children have been attending JSK Taekwondo for a few months. I have loved our experience. The staff is incredibly professional and very obviously enjoy what they do. All instructors and helpers have been patient and encouraging to the kids. Supporting them with their individual needs. I definitely recommend JSK to any family in the downtown/midtown area. We are definitely going to stay and continue to support this business.

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Jsk Taekwon-Do. They’ve done an amazing job and are incredibly respectful. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the dedication and passion that the instructors pour into their work. They are always quick to respond to any questions or concerns, making communication seamless and reassuring. One of the most impressive aspects of Jsk Taekwon-Do is the noticeable growth and development in the students. The kids not only improve their physical strength but also their confidence and discipline. The instructors genuinely care about each student's progress and well-being, creating a supportive and nurturing environment. I highly recommend this place to anyone interested in Taekwon-Do. The commitment and love that the team at Jsk Taekwon-Do puts into their teaching are truly commendable. It's a fantastic place for kids to learn, grow, and develop both physically and mentally.

Parents beware!! This place is an absolute nightmare to send your child to. Our daughter was a loyal student for years, never missed classes, was on the competition team, we always paid in full and on time, our family helped at extracurricular events for the academy, and our daughter was just months shy of getting her black belt. The owner, Kate, decided to kick my eight year-old child out of the school due to Kate’s own insecurity issues that she failed to address previously. The only two instructors that this place employs also allowed physical bullying to take place with absolutely no consequences. I witnessed this on multiple occasions. The instructors play “favorites” and the students are not treated equally. Kate (owner) has zero integrity and only cares about taking your money. There are much more experienced taekwondo academies in Phoenix that will actually treat you and, more importantly, your child with kindness and respect. JSK is the bottom of the barrel. Don’t waste your money here.
