Lee is very knowledgeable and has a long time of experience in martial arts. I was very impressed by his skills as a martial artist and insight into real world situations as he has also worked as a bouncer for a long time. He’s experienced many real world situations that help him narrow down what works and what doesn’t in real life. Would highly recommend.

I love Sensei Leigh! Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and supportive in martial arts, but he is also able to provide real-life applications for why certain techniques are important. I am already amazed by my own progress and am excited to continue. Training with him has made me feel much safer while walking on sidewalks, going to work, and visiting public places. If you are considering joining his class or enrolling your child or children, I highly recommend it!

I work in the service industry and had no training or confidence when it comes to self defense and how to be effective in controlling and removing disruptive and unruly patrons. After taking Musubi Martial Arts classes, I'm confident I now have the skills to both defend myself, and how to be a reliable coworker in managing and controlling guests when necessary. Musubi Martial Arts is great for the beginner or experienced and is highly recommended.

This is my dad’s dojo. I was practically raised inside multiple dojos as a kid, so I was able to experience the different ambiences, teaching skills etc. I will forever be so grateful for the knowledge that was given to me. It’s not only learning about how to protect yourself, but it’s also a form of peace and meditation once you get comfortable in it. My dad’s passion is now his business, and with that comes a sensei who truly cares. It’s amazing to see not only the relationships built between the students, but also between the teacher….and that’s something that you don’t see very often. I am absolutely so proud of my dad for following his passion, but I’m even more proud of him for helping others build confidence, discipline, respect and above all, learning how to protect themselves. I love you dad !

I entered this dojo with no combat or self defense experience. After a couple years of training, I have learned a lot in this dojo. We have gone over different martial arts including aikido, Japanese jiu-jitsu, kenpo karate, and (my favorite) judo. Sensei Lee caters the training to what your goal is. Where as most dojos stick to tradition, Sensei Lee has adopted his teaching style to work against many modern attacks and techniques. The blend of the arts we are taught give us a versatile array of options to choose from in case of emergency. All in all, experience is great and Sensei is very understanding and treats us all as equal like a friend would and it’s amazing!
