My son started karate at PV school of karate when he was 4, and has been there for the past four years. I can’t even express enough how much karate classes and this school has helped him to learn, grow and build character. The teachers have the perfect balance of structure & authority with compassion and a genuine interest in supporting each student’s individual needs. My son learned self discipline, respect, and gained a love for practicing his skills. We would highly recommend PV school of karate to any parents.

Great school! The instructors are not only skilled and professional, but they also truly care about the kids, all while focusing on providing a positive and encouraging environment. Every class is fun and structured, and we’ve seen real growth both on and off the mat. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a place where their kids can thrive!

We love PV Karate. Our son has been going there since he was 5 years old. We love their day care during breaks so affordable and convenient. They're all so great with the kids and make sure they're having a good time learning how to defend themselves. They also encourage them to help the younger kids which gives them a great sense of pride and leadership. Definitely recommend!

This school is amazing. I have been studying Karate for 11 years now. I became a student of Sensei and Guro Wall about 10 months ago. The classes are so full of great information. The students are kind and respectful. The instructors always have an agenda of what they want to cover in class, make sure they cover it and then review it. If you are considering any martial arts training, look no further than Paradise Valley Karate. You will not be disappointed.

Started taking my kids to PV Karate 3 months ago. They go twice a week and LOVE every class. It's about more than Karate for us - my kids are learning respect, discipline, listening skills, working hard, repetition, and soaking up all the knowledge of the sport. We've already attended a competition to be able to watch the advanced students, and it got us all fired up for the next class and progression. Sensei Mike Wall commands attention from the group in a gentle and fun way. No ego, no yelling. I can tell he truly loves guiding these kids. And Guro Heather has been so pleasant as well in helping me learn how to help my kids progress. The kids went to Spring Break camp and loved it - totally affordable, btw. The other kids who attend this dojo have all been welcoming and friendly to my kids as well. There's definitely a spirit of acceptance, mutual respect and students helping other students learn the correct movements. We're really enjoying these classes and I'm excited to see my kids advance through the sport.
