Phoenix Shotokan Karate is an amazing Karate school and I would highly recommend it to adults and children alike. My daughter has been going here for the last 2 years and she has grown leaps and bounds from the last school she was at. Sensei Shawn Sample has been a great competitor, student and instructor. I have known him since 1980 and he has always been dedicated to the art of Shotokan karate.

My kids have been going to this place to learn and the Sensei is the best person for your kids. They really put so much efforts into your child for learning the karate. My kids loved it, it teaches self defense, stretching, bending, kicking, discipline and respect. It is a great place for kids. I recommend this place for kids. So sad that we are moving out of AZ but we will truly miss you Phx Shotokan Karate for the life long lessons taught by Sensei and his team.

I was referred here by a sensei, called to request information on classes for my 3 year old and was told they were not "babysitters" terrible customer service. Who says that?
