Joining Shogun Judo is probably the best decision I’ve made in my life. Judo is not just about being physically fit and learning new skills, but more importantly about helping each other grow together. All the instructors at Shogun Judo exemplify this as well as anybody. They have so much experience in judo and choose to keep giving back because they genuinely care about their students. No matter what your experience level is, there is a lot you can learn from training here.

My two boys (7yr and 9yd) love it here. Their first year in Judo. Sensei John and his team are all wonderful instructors in their own unique personal styles, and they are great with kids.

Shogun has been an amazing place for learning and thriving in Judo and for forging amazing bonds with the all who go there. The senseis are tough, yet ever so kind and positive. They strive to bring out the best in all of their students and everyone who goes walks into the dojo is welcome.

I cannot recommend Shogun Judo enough, it has been such an incredible place for my kids to grow, learn, and thrive. From the first class, it was clear that this isn’t just a judo school; it’s a community dedicated to building confidence, discipline, and character in every student. The instructors are phenomenal with kids, patient, encouraging, and incredibly skilled. They not only teach the technical aspects of judo with precision but also instill essential life values like respect, perseverance, and teamwork. My children have gained so much more than martial arts skills they’ve developed self-confidence, focus, and a sense of responsibility that has carried over into their schoolwork. What I love most is the supportive environment. Every child is celebrated for their progress, no matter their skill level, and the older students and coaches go out of their way to help younger or newer practitioners feel welcome. Seeing my kids light up after every session, eager to show me what they’ve learned, has been a joy. If you’re looking for a place that will empower your kids, teach them valuable life lessons, and surround them with positive role models, Shogun Judo is truly exceptional. It’s been a life-changing experience for our family.

My son Adrian has been in student at Shogun Now for a little over a year. I can’t tell you how much he has grown not only as a student, but as a young man. Having Adrian join Shogun was the best decision for not only me, but for Adrian. I can’t think the team at Shogun or what they have taught my son and how he is growing as a young man. I strongly recommend That if you have a boy or a girl in your family, that not only would like to learn the art of self-defense, but help develop their maturity and self discipline, Shogun Judo Is the place to go?
