Southwest Wrestling Academy

We are in our second session at Southwest Wrestling Academy and are thoroughly enjoying the program. The coaches are all great with the kids at every level and our son, who is a beginner is learning the skills necessary to advance. He loves to wrestle and we plan to stay in this program for the foreseeable future. Practice schedule is flexible for our lifestyle. Voluntary tournaments are available at the beginner level which we look forward to participating in. Thanks, SW!

The week-long summer camps and the 6-week club sessions have both been great. My son has been coming for almost a year and we love it. They have knowledgeable and experienced coaches, all-Americans, and varsity coaches teaching foundational wrestling to young kids. You can tell they’re doing it because they love it and want to pass along their passion for the sport. This is exactly what my son needs to learn the fundamentals and prepare him for the next level.

Southwest wrestling academy was highly suggested to me by many parents before we joined the team. My two sons, 7 & 13 both look forward to training nights. They say they love their coaches and their teammates. The coaches have a depth of wrestling knowledge and the teammates are great training partners. The coaches teach high pressure, explosive, and technical wrestling Not to mention Coach Owen keeps his team physically prepared as well. My boys are proud members of the academy and I as parent give a 10/10 rating. I recommend Southwest Wrestling Academy to everyone with children from 5-18.

We have been here 18 months. Both my daughter and son have had an amazing experience. The coaches go above and beyond to meet my kids where they’re at in their development. Cannot recommend this club enough. My kids have both drastically improved mentally and physically. Many of their closest friends are members of this club. Awesome coaches and environment.

This is such a great year-round wrestling program! Both of my sons have been part of the club since it opened. My high schooler lives for the sport and competition, and the coaches do an amazing job continuing to challenge him. My junior high son, who is Deaf, is more about the fun side of the sport and prefers not to compete in tournaments, but the coaches always make sure he’s included and All of the coaches have a passion for wrestling which helps makes wrestling fun for beginners while pushing advanced athletes to the next level. The environment is supportive, competitive and welcoming to new members of all skill levels. We highly recommend!
