Thorobred Wrestling Club

Our family had our first season at Thorobred this year and it was an excellent experience for all 3 of our kids. Our 5 year old daughter was in the beginner class and had an amazing intro to wrestling with Coach Mike, Dave, Brian, and assisants from Valiant . Coach Mike is the best of the best here in the valley for youth wrestling. He will teach technique, inspire the kids and most importantly will have your kids love the sport oppose to getting burnt out by age 12. See you in the Fall!

Great coaching, great environment, great club. You should give it a try. I think you'll find the same. We aren't regulars there due to distance and logistics but love Thorobred anyways! We are treated very well even though we aren't regulars.

Mike and Dave Douglas run an amazing club. I wrestled in High School and it is amazing the things I learned that were not correct. So it is excellent to see my son learn the correct basics and correct techniques. If you want to have a son/daughter be a champion wrestler look no further you have found your club. It is essentially wrestling heaven.

Our family absolutely loves everything about Thorobred Wrestling Club. Coach Mike and Coach David are exceptional — their dedication, knowledge, and passion for the sport have made a tremendous impact on our son. We've seen incredible growth in his confidence, discipline, and skill this past season, and we couldn't be more grateful. Mackenzie and Anderson are also fantastic young coaches who bring energy, positivity, and encouragement to every session. They’re great role models for the younger wrestlers and clearly care about each athlete's development. It's a special place, and we're proud to be part of it.

The worst experience I’ve had with my child. Do not bring your kids here to learn how to wrestle. The coaching is horrible. They only focus on the star competitors in the school. Everyone one else pays to keep the lights on. I feel like I got robbed by them. If you want a real wrestling coach look for Ray Waters.
