Ucelo Martial Arts Glendale has been the best decision for my kiddos. Both of my children’s confidence level have risen tremendously and they both look forward to attending class week after week. All the staff is so welcoming and warm. Definitely a place I recommend for martial arts for anyone of any age!

We absolutely love Ucelo Martial Arts! It’s a great school with amazing coaches who truly care about the kids and their growth. We love Coach Willie and Coach Aaron! They have been great for our son. The community is welcoming and supportive, and the special events like Ninja Nights, the New Year hike, potlucks, and Trunk or Treat make it feel like family. Spar Wars and testing days are especially exciting—it’s so fun to watch the kids’ confidence and progress shine through. Highly recommend!

We recently enrolled our 5-year-old son Christopher at Ucelo Martial Arts in Glendale, AZ, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Mrs. Sarah Ucelo is so loving, kind, and truly makes our family feel at home from the moment we walk in. She even offered to let our older son, Ezekiel, attend Ninja Night to help him feel more comfortable. Ezekiel has been a little scared to sign up for martial arts, but she always makes him feel loved, welcomed, and encouraged — never pressured. The instructors are incredibly patient and supportive. They take their time working with Christopher on his jiu-jitsu moves, exercises, punches, and kicks. You can tell they genuinely care about developing each child, not just teaching techniques but also building confidence and discipline. Ucelo martial arts is so much more than I expected. They not only have great staff but are so knowledgeable in what they teach and treat each child individually to their own needs. I highly recommend them and they are very affordable.

Before we started here, my four year old son had a lot of confidence issues which resulted in us having a hard time introducing us to new people, places, and experiences. Ever since starting here we have noticed an IMMEDIATE difference in his confidence and how he carries himself day to day. He listens much better at home and every time we go they not only teach him important defense skills but core life lessons too. We LOVE it here and are excited to see him grow here. If you have a little one and you are on the fence, JUMP! Its so worth it!
