Mr. Kirk Wheeler began working with my five year old son teaching him tae kwon do almost a year ago. Mr. Wheeler is patient and kind and has greatly helped my son with his athletic ability and confidence. My seven year old daughter attends an all girls class he teaches and she loves it also. Mr. Wheeler is a truly special person who cares about his students and teaching them to be strong, disciplined, safe and respectful people. The prices for the classes are extremely reasonable and less than half of any other studio my family looked at. Mr. Wheeler is a gem!

Our family loves Wheeler Tae Kwon Do! This school offers so much more than the traditional curriculum, emphasizing practical self-defense skills and strategies, including how to avoid risky situations. Mr. Wheeler has a great connection with kids, and as an example of practical self-defense skills, he teaches kids how to escape a stranger’s grasp and coaches them in how to deal with bullies and how to deescalate a physical altercation. No uniforms are required, and this school offers female-only and male-only classes. Mr. Wheeler also teaches adults, including a mom’s class, weapons defense, and private lessons. Bonus—this school is very affordable!
