ATA Martial Arts - Maumelle

Ever since Hunter has joined taekwondo in maumelle his behavior and attitude has completely changed. He was getting in trouble at school but not anymore. He has become more respectful and is has gotten straight A's the last three nine weeks. Very thankful for the staff and how patient they are with the students.

The Maumelle School of American Taekwondo Association has been transformative for my daughter's health and character. As a diabetic, she has gained strength, flexibility, and improved overall health through regular physical activity. The classes are fun and cater to every kid, enhancing her listening skills, confidence, and self-discipline. The supportive instructors have challenged her both physically and mentally, building her resilience and fostering qualities like respect and responsibility. The program promotes non-violent conflict resolution, goal setting, and socialization skills. It's been a holistic experience that encourages her to focus on self-improvement and community service. Thank you Mr. H for being a wonderful instructor!

We have been so impressed with our experience in Maumelle. All of the instructors pour into our kiddo to support her growth and success, not only towards her black belt but as a respectful, confident human. Cannot recommend this kind, patient group enough!

My son started taking classes at ATA in Maumelle just over 6 months ago. He has ADHD and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Because of his diagnoses he has had trouble with focus, concentration, and impulsivity. These have hindered him at home, in school and in making friends. When he started taking classes he was quiet and would barely move, content with doing the bare minimum. Now, he has shown a huge improvement in confidence, focus and taking initiative. He helps more at home, has better focus at school and looks going forward to going to classes as often as he can! I can’t say enough about the staff and how they have transformed my sons attitude and confidence! Mr. H has the patience of a saint, can manage to teach a room full of active children with no difficulty and still help individual students make corrections. Mr. Delk is so kind and cheers on the students giving them compliments the confidence to keep going. Mrs. Grady is kind and always explaining the importance of a particular move. The three of them make a great team that works well together. The location is convenient and I am so happy we found them!
