Our family wanted structure, routine, and a sport my son could love while still working with our shift schedules. The flexibility of coming any weekday has been perfect, and he’s thriving. The discipline and respect here are a breath of fresh air. Even kids who normally struggle to sit still quickly engage, listen, and enjoy. It’s a place where kids grow individually while making friends. There are tournament opportunities to attend and jujitsu guest instructors. Weekly weapon classes. Guest weeks teaching practical self defense. Workouts and stretching each class. Also fantastic place to have your child’s birthday party. The instructors balance strictness with fun, and the every-other monthly testing teaches my son to practice, prepare, and handle pressure. He looks forward to every class—his only complaint is that we don’t go often enough!

We had my 5year old’s birthday at Impact Martial Arts today, and it was perfect for us. Mr. Cowan was very engaging and kept the attention of several small children for over an hour- not an easy feat for a group of 4 year olds! They had so much fun. My son got to break a board and cut his cupcakes with a Samurai sword- a truly unique party. I liked that the location was smaller and felt private. There was plenty of seating for the adults to watch the kids, too. Overall great experience!

I've taken classes for 5 years and worked here for almost 2 years, and I can positively say there is no better place to enroll you or your kids to learn martial arts. Classes are well structured, the instructors do a phenomenal job of engaging with students, and everyone learns a mix of martial arts on their journey to becoming a black belt. Not only these things, but kids work on valuable life skills with each testing cycle that will propel them forward as they grow. I'm very grateful to have learned martial arts at Impact, and have been taught by Mr. Cowan for so long. If you're looking for a place to start taking classes, I'd reccomend nowhere else but here.

I just celebrated my daughter’s 7th birthday here . I have attended a party here before too and loved it so much that I decided to conduct my daughters party here. I truly love this place. Mr . Cowan is very receptive to your needs. He teaches the students some basic fun martial arts for one hour. I was impressed by how he keeps the kids well engaged and all the kids had a lot of fun games . All the kids will be together as a group and the whole place is just for you during the one and half hours of party. Which I felt was a great way to have a party rather than some other places where all the kids are spread out . They have enough space to have food and other decorations and all the parents to hang out.

My wife and I signed our daughter up for a summer camp at Impact three years ago and she has been in the classes ever since. She loves the sport and we have noticed a real difference in her self confidence in everything she does. She has made friends at Impact and asks to attend the Kids Night Out events each month. The instructors are professional and fun and keep everything appropriate for the age groups they are teaching. Advanced students are always willing to help out the beginners and the entire environment is welcoming to everyone. My daughter is now only a few belts away from her first black belt and she's looking forward to continuing training well after receiving it. Her joy is so infectious that I have joined the adult classes in the evenings to share the sport with her. If you are looking for a sport for your child that's fun and helps build up their confidence and self esteem, you can't go wrong here.
