I have been training here since 2012. This is a safe, respectful (and well-respected) martial arts studio where you can feel confident bringing your kids or yourself. All are welcomed. The instructors are knowledgeable and kind, and the atmosphere is family friendly but does not water down the martial art in any way. Kenpo Karate is both adaptable to anyone and complex enough to keep you on your toes. Mr. Hawkins was a student of Mr. Ed Parker (founder of Kenpo Karate), so his knowledge of the art is both first hand and encyclopedic. The high number of long-time students is a testament to the quality of the instruction, and the character of the community that exists across the three dojos.

This studio has changed our lives for the better in so many ways. The family lead community is kind, diverse, well versed with all types of kids. We have met so many people that say they have grown up taking karate from Bryan Hawkins and it’s one of the best parts of their growth from childhood to adulthood and they still smile when talking about it. Our son has gained focus, insight, socialization, community and a group of amazing teachers to admire. A game changer, a life changer, and a home away from home. Grateful beyond words to Bryan Hawkins and the entire staff. Best thing we have ever invested in for our growing boy!

Bryan Hawkins Kenpo Karate offers the complete martial arts experience. Preserving a direct lineage from Senior Grand Master Ed Parker, this comprehensive self-defense system leaves nothing out, including expert training in stand-up and ground fighting. The kids program starts at age four and will help your child gain confidence, poise, and perseverance, which translates seamlessly into other parts of their lives. The adult program, likewise, will improve confidence, coordination, memory, strength, and more -- it as much an intellectual workout as it is physical. For more than four decades, the word from those most in the know has been that if you want to learn Ed Parker's Kenpo Karate, you go to Bryan Hawkins.

This Kenpo Karate martial arts school exemplifies the virtues of martial arts study with knowledge, discipline and focus. The heritage is stellar whereby Mr. Hawkins studied directly with Senior Grandmaster and Founder Ed Parker. The instructors deeply care about the art and the individual journey within the Art. The children's programs is super - I taught one class for years - whereby the children learn self-defense and self-discipline through a focused approach. In today's world, with rising crime and uncertainty, the study of martial provides a stronger environmental awareness to protect oneself, one's family and one's country.

Bryan Hawkins Kenpo Karate is the best martial arts dojo to learn original Kenpo Karate that was developed by Grand Master Ed Parker. Master Hawkins was a private student and is a highly qualified black belt under Master Parker's system. All the instructors at the dojo are extremely experienced, approachable, and provide you with a comprehensive system of training. The classes focus on Techniques (sequence of moves derived for a self defense situation), Kata (forms), and Freestyle sparring. There is a wealth of self-defense knowledge available here. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced martial artist, this place has you covered. Bryan Hawkins' Kenpo Karate will push you to be your best self, physically and mentally.
