Incredible gym with welcoming staff. You can tell everyone truly cares about all the students, parents and visitors by the great hospitality they show everyone from when you enter all the way to when you leave. Professional coaching staff and class was full with kids, women, and men students who understand how safely train. Great experience for sure!

Hands down the best gym in town. I’ve been attending CMMA for just about 3 weeks almost a month and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The respect and undivided attention each coach shows on and off the mat is so important to me and I really admire that. Each coach thoroughly goes thru every drill, technique, takedown and explains it to the tee. Everyone is always included here. Their hospitality is amazing. Everyone here has great energy and attitude. I also want to add how amazingly professional these guys are. Sooooo good. Out of all the Gyms I’ve been to, CMMA is the place to be! Worth every dime. Don’t miss out.

If you are looking for “real world” fight training then this is the place for you. I’m a 45 year old male professional with no fighting experience who has two toddlers with no time to work out or lift weights. I signed up for 6 months striking package and ultimately had to quit to take care of my mother who had stage 3 Cancer (She is cancer free now and the owner Chad George was very helpful and supportive). If I had to rank myself among the class I would say I was dead last: I was the oldest and most out of shape. The reason why I’m mentioning this is because yesterday a 30 year old male who was in great shape challenged me to a fight and this was despite the fact I had to quit CMMA 6 months ago. The result? I beat the shit out the guy. I was shocked that despite me being the worst in all the classes and the worst shape I was still able to retain enough skills from the 50 or so classes I took over 6 months to beat an opponent who many would say was far more superior. I can’t tell you how good that feels. In my humble opinion there are 3 reasons why CMMA is the best for “real world” fighting scenarios like getting into a fight at a public place or dealing with that idiot cousin who acts like they have nothing to lose by challenging anyone to a fight. 1) Coaches - the people training you are the real professional fighters. They are training you while preparing for their next fight and best of all: They are incredible humble and patient. 2) Sparring - the last 15 minutes of each training session are the most intense part where there are 2-3 minute rounds sparing. You might go up against a female opponent or an amateur boxer. They all kicked my ass but those ass kickings made my real world fight seem easy. I remember being so nervous going up against a real boxer but when I had my real world fight yesterday I wasn’t even nervous, in fact I laughed the minute I saw my opponent put his fists up: he never had any professional training. Location and people - this isn’t some swanky gym in Manhattan Beach. It’s a gym located in an industrial area of Gardena. It’s not fancy because the people are here to train and fight. They’re scrappy and close to the types of people you’d likely fight in the real world. I would go back to CMMA in a heartbeat but right now my schedule with my family is too busy to go back but wanted to leave this review to thank Chad and the rest of the team at CMMA
