I’ve been training at Flow State Jiu-Jitsu for a while now, and it’s easily the best jiu-jitsu gym in Eagle Rock. The coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and truly care about proper technique and student development. The environment is welcoming, clean, and supportive — no ego, just great training. It’s a fantastic place for beginners as well as more experienced practitioners. Classes are well-structured and easy to follow, and the quality of instruction really stands out. My son, Brucie, is also enrolled in the kids jiu-jitsu program, and he absolutely loves it. He’s 8 years old and fits right into the kids class, and the coaches do an amazing job keeping the class fun, disciplined, and confidence-building. It’s been great to see his focus and confidence grow. If you’re looking for a high-quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym in Eagle Rock, I highly recommend checking out Flow State Jiu-Jitsu.

The jiu-jitsu coaches are incredibly dedicated and persistent. They stay focused on each child, making sure they understand and improve every step of the way. Their patience, energy, and genuine care for the kids really stand out. What I really love is that they never make any child feel left out—every kid gets attention and support. You can tell they want every student to succeed, not just in jiu-jitsu, but in confidence and discipline too. Amazing team! Highly recommended

Flow State is a great place to train. I love the solid, dark color because it makes for a calm environment that helps me focus on the moves. Plenty of mat space, everything is kept clean and well-maintained. Eric and Ben have been welcoming to me, and they host open mats on Saturdays 12pm and Sundays 11am. Be sure to try Benny's Bomba Bowls! Great tasting acai for on-the-go.
