I have been training here for over a year now, and my experience has been outstanding. Paul’s ability to break down and explain technique has played a major role in my consistent improvement. The quality of training here is essential for my line of work, and FT consistently delivers at a high level. I’ve trained at many gyms throughout the Los Angeles area, and FT truly stands out. The environment is always clean, welcoming, and motivating. I highly recommend this gym to anyone serious about their training.

I did a drop-in at Frogtown BJJ while visiting East LA and it’s easily my go-to gym in the area now. I trained with Paul Schreiner and had an incredible experience. Excellent instruction, great rolls, and a really thoughtful training environment. It’s also the most beautiful space I’ve ever trained in, with tons of natural light, natural materials and plants.

Incredible training at Frogtown BJJ. Great training partners and a really good vibe on the mats. The instruction from Paul Schreiner is top level, super clear and technical but easy to follow. You get a lot out of every class. The facility is also really clean and well kept, which makes a big difference when you’re training a lot. If you’re around LA and looking for a solid place to train, definitely check it out.

Visiting LA on holiday and made the drive to visit Frogtown. Fabulous space, spotless mat space and changing facilities. Great vibes everyone is really friendly and I had some fabulous rolls. Obviously Paul is a great instructor and that shows in both the class I saw and the open mat. Definately worth a visit or a gym to consider if your in the area.

I dropped into Frogtown Jiu-Jitsu for NoGi during my most recent LA visit and really enjoyed it. It's a high level and technical room. As a 105lb woman I felt safe which is really important when training someplace new. I feel the experience opened my awareness to new details and it moved the needle along on my jiu-jitsu. Paul is very friendly and responsive and his good temperament is reflected in his students as well. I absolutely look forward to training here again the next time I'm in LA!
