Gracie University of Jiu-Jitsu

We recently started our journey with Gracie University for my 4-year-old, who just began public school, and I felt he could benefit from the skills taught here. From the very beginning, everyone has been so welcoming. Special shout out to Kevin and Robby, who made our first steps into the program such a positive experience. The coaches are excellent. They know how to work with kids, and they are mindful that these are young learners just starting out. It has been a great experience so far, and I’m really glad we joined. Also I love the fact that they offer the 10 day trial so that you know what you are yet to pay for.

I was looking for a good place for my 4-year-old son to start learning Jiu Jitsu, with the goal of building his strength, confidence, and ability to protect himself. I'm so glad I found Gracie—it's the perfect place! He loved it from Day 1 and started asking every day when he could go back. The 10-day trial gave us the chance to experience four classes and get a feel for the program. The teachers are wonderful—positive, supportive, and always encouraging the kids. The environment is great too. We decided to enroll in the program even before the trial ended because we could already see how much he was enjoying it and how beneficial it was for him.

Zac and Rawann @ Gracie were super professional, friendly and communicative throughout our trial experience at Gracie. My daughter enjoyed her 1st trial class so much that as we were leaving the facility that she said that she wanted to come back regularly. As a parent, I loved the storytelling, encouragement and class engagement. To me, that’s super Tough to do in any setting with such a large group and diverse age range, but Zac and Rawann made it look so easy, fun & educational! When I called in after deciding to commit to classes at Gracie, Lou walked me through the process patiently, pleasantly and professionally. Just like the instructors, She was just as amazing, friendly, communicative, informative and professional. My daughter had a great first class, intro to Jiu Jitsu, to Gracie and walked away with more tools, a stronger body, healthier voice, autonomy for her self, her body most importantly comfort and confidence in her own skin and ability while having fun So far, my experience with Gracie as a parent, has been nothing but pleasant and helpful. 👏bravo Gracie team. Can’t wait to see what the next classes teach my little one and how much better equipped she’ll be to face whatever the world throws at her.

My husband and I were looking into placing 4 of our children ages 5 & 7 yr. old boys, & 9 & 12 yr. old girls, into self defense classes. We looked into many schools and Dojos and this was the one! Immediately we were greeted by a young lady that was super friendly and knowledgeable about how everything ran. She gave us a tour. She also explained all the packages and deals when enrolling more than one family member. The deals were exceptional and we signed up for the Bully Proof program right on the spot. We just finished our free trial and extended our membership. Everything about this establishment is amazing from the core discipline, and positive engagement they have. They memorized our children’s names on the first day! Bobbi and Sam have this amazing energy and patience with these kids. They are able to keep the class well organized without any discouragement or chaos. The smiles of these kids faces when they enter and leave the mat is priceless. During the class of MANY kids they have additional sideline instructors to make sure all kids are mastering their technique. They also have a character building program where they earn patches for manners, caring, ect. They offer an abundant amount of programs where their learning never stops and they can grow in this family inviting community. We are so grateful for Gracie University and everything they provide for the growth of our children.

My son attends Gracie University , and I just want to say how grateful I am for the instructors. They are so kind, attentive, and patient with the kids. They make every class fun, while still teaching important skills and confidence. You can truly tell they care about each student. My son always looks forward to going, and it’s been such a wonderful experience for us.
