The gym can get crowded, hot & humid, smell of heavy sweat, have restricting hours, damaged and limited equipment, but other than the hours the rest isn't really a big deal. Great trainers, lots of sparring.

This place is awesome plain and simple. Located in the heart of east LA this gym just has a great vibe when you step inside. David is rare breed, he has a passion for Muay Thai and is just an all around good dude. He is there for what you need, whether it be if your trying to get a good work out in and shed some pounds, or if even if you wanna step inside the ring and compete david is a professional fighter and will get you up to the level you need to be successful. Good people, great gym and a beautiful LA atmosphere. Honestly you really cant beat it.

I have been training Muay Thai for 10+years yet every time I leave the gym I learn something new. Coach David is very knowledgeable and a lot of the members are either former or current fighters so it keeps me on my toes. Signed up for a year 😊🙏. If your near L.A and you want to learn legit Muay Thai in a comfortable ,clean and friendly environment this is the place.

Signing up is pretty easy, but they don't mention that the 100 a month Is an annual sign up or that there's a registration fee. I was never offered a month to month payment plan, I would have had to sat down and read the contract. My fault, I should of taken the time. And there's a cancelation fee of 200.00 to get out of the contract otherwise your stuck. Training could be better, too many students are added in their beginners class. And the instructor can't really watch everyone.

It was extremely humid, about 86 °F with 51% humidity in the evening. I’ve trained in several Muay Thai gyms before. While they can all get hot, this one stood out as the worst in terms of humidity and air circulation. There were no fans, most gyms at least have large open garage doors and ventilation fans to keep air moving. This place had none—only a tiny door in the back. The coaches and fighters are clearly skilled, but I don’t think the Muay Thai Fit classes or waiting to join the Muay Thai camp offer much value. Beginners would experience more benefit from Dutch drills, pad work, bag work, and light sparring right from the start. Focusing on cardio during class doesn’t make sense—a better use of class time would be focusing on technique. If you want cardio, do it outside of class.
