I’ve known Nick for over 12 years, and as a black belt who has personally benefited so much from Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), I can honestly say he represents everything great about this art. Training with him over the years has been inspiring. His depth of knowledge, attention to detail, and calm, professional approach make a real difference whether you’re brand new or have been on the mats a long time. Omni Jiu-Jitsu reflects who Nick is as both a coach and a person. The environment is welcoming, respectful, and focused on growth. He has a unique ability to break techniques down in a way that actually sticks, while still keeping training challenging and fun. You can tell he genuinely cares about his students' progress, safety, and long-term journey in Jiu-Jitsu. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll improve technically, be part of a positive community, and learn from someone who truly lives the values of Jiu-Jitsu, I highly recommend Omni Jiu-Jitsu. Grateful to call Nick a longtime friend, coach, and training partner.

Coach Nick is the best coach ever. I’ve played many sports throughout my life and he’s gotta be one of the best coaches I’ve ever had. He explains jiu jitsu very well. He’s a good person and cares about you, and making sure you feel comfortable. We’ve got a lot of women at the gym and I think that says something. I’ve been to different gyms throughout my BJJ journey and this is definitely my other home besides my actual home. Been with coach Nick since I was a seasoned white belt and I’m a brown belt now. :)

This gym is a gem for all who want to learn and train jiu jitsu. The coaches are knowledgeable and attentive teachers. The people who make up the gym are friendly. The gym has a chill vibe—relaxed and not at all intimidating. (Though I’m sure many of these folks are lethal when crossed) The coaches are evidently skilled at their sport and also seemingly gifted at teaching. Even in classes with 10+ people, somehow coach ensures that everyone gets 1-on-1 instruction to refine their game. Being new to the sport, I always come into the live rolls/drills feeling a little lost, but coach is seemingly always there to support with keen insight, and the students I spar with are more interested in helping me learn instead of crushing the newbie. Literally every student I’ve rolled with has taught me something. Learning jiu jitsu here has been a lot of fun. The gym has students of various skill levels so I imagine even a more experienced athlete will find training here to be of great value as well. The coaches’ attention to detail will surely help any practitioner refine their skills.

Awesome bjj program and community hub in the heart of South LA. Dom is an incredible resource and role model for the kids who come to train here, and the instruction at all levels is top-notch.
