Before I started I didn’t know how to throw a punch. I knew I couldn’t live this life not knowing how to defend myself and the people I care about so I had to find a place to learn. This place has changed my life. The camaraderie, the discipline, the growth. All of these can be found here. Coach Vic is a hard ass some of the time but you know it’s out of love. He wants to see you grow and improve. What ever reason you have to want to start learning, or you’re already experienced, this gym is probably right for you. There is an expansive curriculum and the coaches are patient and willing to always give pointers. I can’t say enough about this place.

Amazing gym culture. Coach Vic and his staff are highly knowledgeable and patient. If you're a new comer or beginner, they will integrate you in smoothly and make sure you're taken care of. Sparring culture is on point. You don't have to worry about getting hurt or brawling with some rando. All levels of muay thai will like this gym.

This gym has a great sense of community. It has been a safe and friendly environment for me to train in for the last 2 years. The coaches are friendly, knowledgeable and very giving of their time. I’d just as quickly recommend TBI to experienced Muay Thai practitioners as I would to beginners who have an interest in trying it for the first time. Great West LA location, cool space and lots of fun. I highly recommend it!

I’ve started going to TBI almost 2 years ago and never left! Found it on a google search and had no idea how to muay thai - didnt even know what was a jab!
Since the beggining I felt the environment was safe, everyone was welcoming and helpful respecting my level and goals. All coaches are excellent and technical, its noticible all the hard work coach Vic puts into making the staff and the space always evolving. As a women, I need to highlight coach Jennie and coach Erin. Its not any place that you get to learn from international level women athletes and have a women’s class. Last but not least, they really do listen to what members have to say and make sucessful efforts to create a nice gym community that I’m happy to be a part of!

Man, I really can’t speak highly enough of this place! The coaches and community here are special. I’ve been training for about 7 years now, started with TBI and felt like it was the only place I needed to be. Whatever your goals might be, whether it’s to compete, be healthier or just learn about Muay Thai culture and the art of striking, this is the gym to be at. Patient, knowledgeable, organized, clean and competitive if/when you want it to be. It’s for all levels and worthwhile without a doubt.
