The name may say MMA but dont be fooled, the Muay Thai program is hardcore. Beginner and advanced classes. Two mats full of people of all sizes and skill to partner with. A variety of big guys with skill which can be very hard to find. Lots of active fighters. Theres also a weight area and a big shower. Place is always clean. Lots of ventilation. You get a free week trial, and during the trial youre allowed to do everything including spar. A no-nonsense pay plan (no initiation fee, no contract, you dont have to buy a bunch of t-shirts). Pricing is more than competitive. Never lived this close to my gym before, shouldve joined way sooner.

Uprise has a great set up and great trainers. I’ve been to the Tuesday night classes or Friday night sparring and the trainers as well as other fighters are all super friendly and helpful. I also love that there’s a good amount of women who are members!
