Eastern Ways Martial Arts - Folsom

Eastern Ways Martial Arts is exactly what I was looking for: a studio grounded in traditional practices with superb instructors. Their teaching model of providing students with one private lesson per week in addition to the group lessons is both unique and ingenious. This isn't Kovar's, which is more of a puppy mill for kids where everyone gets a participation trophy. Eastern Ways is meant for the serious practitioner--both youth and adult--who seeks the sort of personal growth that only a traditional martial arts studio can provide.

Great staff! Very knowledgeable about all aspects of training in the martial arts of Kung Fu and Tai Chi. Private lesson instructors are very helpful in allowing students to learn safely, minimizing chances of injuries while achieving their goals!

Both my kids went to Eastern Ways Martial Arts. My children started when they were ages 4 and 5 and learnt for 10- 12 years. This is a family friendly environment and they are very dedicated to the martial arts. They teach hand forms and weapons. Eastern Ways Martial Arts follows the Choy Li Fut style and the roots go back to the Shaolin temple.

A great martial arts school! I am training at Eastern Ways for 3y in Kung Fu; great teachers, Sifu and lineage. I look forward to training here for many more years and learn Tai Chi as well. Highly recommended for kids and adults; students will learn not just martial arts but also discipline, punctuality, respect, courage, confidence and so much more!

Eastern Ways Folsom is an amazing martial arts academy, our son has been a student since 2022. They offer group lessons three times a week and personal lessons once a week or every other week. All instructors are well experienced and very respectful.
