Where do I even start? Coach Von is proof that staying true to who you are can get you through anything in life. I could begin by talking about how knowledgeable he is about techniques and training (which he very much is knowledgeable on), but honestly, that’s not why the gym is what it is today. Von brings a passionate, kind, comforting, and inclusive energy that you can’t help but feed off of the moment you walk into the room. He creates an environment where everyone feels welcome, supported, and motivated to grow. All that is to say, you won’t just learn jiu jitsu or kickboxing. Here you’ll gain confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. More importantly, you’ll learn what it means to stay true to yourself, following the example Coach Von sets every day. That’s what truly makes this place special.

Von is not a Coach. He is Teacher. Coaches tell you what to do while teachers show you. This the best Gym by far to learn martial arts. Teacher Von doesn't just teach the move he will teach in a way that you as an individual will understand. Everyone is different and Teacher Von understands that and takes the time to learn every student in order to help them best. I am not able to attend every class as I would like but I can still practice on my own just as effective because Teacher Von's ability to teach you to never forget. Gym is always clean, positive energy, and full of awesome people! Blessed to be apart of Gracie Brazilian Ji Jitsu Davis!

This is an amazing clean,friendly jiujitsu gym. The coach (Evon) is amazing with kids and really takes the time to train the kids correctly. Keeping safety as number one, he is very professional and knowledgeable. Very respectful and funny. Bring your kids here and they will love coach Evon. Great place for kids and adults. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn self defense.

I can’t say enough good things about this gym. The atmosphere is welcoming, the training is top-notch, and you can tell everyone genuinely wants to help each other improve. Coach von is an amazing guy—super knowledgeable, patient, and really cares about his students both on and off the mats.
