I love Mitts & Kicks! I originally found the gym through Groupon in 2015— after my first class, I was hooked! Leticia runs the women’s fitness class and is always incorporating new exercises to keep the class exciting and challenging. This is a great class for all levels, as you can work at your own pace and modify as needed. I currently have been attending throughout my entire pregnancy. Chris and Leticia are amazing owners and trainers and I would highly recommend their gym and classes to everyone— men, women and even kids! I hope you give it a try!

The women’s kickboxing class is the most non-judgmental gym space I’ve ever encountered! It has a little bit of everything, you get to learn about kickboxing, do some weight lifting, and get a great cardio workout in. Leticia is super welcoming & friendly. What I love is no one cares about their outfits & no one is filming themselves, everyone’s just there to get a good workout in. This is a great class even if you know zero about kickboxing!

I love Mitts and Kicks Fitness! Chris and Leticia are both so amazing and it’s always a family friendly vibe. They do great at instruction and it’s a good fit for all fitness levels. If it’s your first time working out, of if you are a fitness nut- this is the place for you! Would definitely suggest dropping in for a class and checking them out! I have been working out with them for years now and always recommend :)

I've been going to Mitts and Kicks since moving to the area last year and I love it! Chris and Letitia are very knowledgeable and friendly. They make it really easy to jump in and learn the skill. The classes are fun and high energy. They have group sessions and one on one sessions at a reasonable rate. They also have a great setup that's not crowded which I appreciate. If you're looking for a gym with awesome owners that can get you started ASAP with a personalized fitness plan then this is your place! Edit: It’s been two years and the standard is still as high as ever at Mitts and Kicks! You won’t regret coming here.

Getting back into my fitness journey I was so excited to see the women’s kickboxing class make its long awaited return! This is the only place I can honestly say is judgement free. I always feel welcome when I arrive and confident when I leave. Learning the different combos not only helps build strength but also muscle memory. Working with Leticia during my 1:1 sessions gives me an extra boost of confidence. She really pushes me past my limit! She designs each session around my goals and adds something different every time. Leticia and Chris make you feel like a family member and not just a membership fee. If you’re looking for a place to feel comfortable in your own skin while getting a stronger body and mind then I encourage you to try Mitts and Kicks women’s kickboxing. Especially since the first two classes are FREE!!
