I am thrilled to share my experience at Natomas Family Taekwondo Academy over the past two and a half years. Joining this academy has been one of the best decisions of my life, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible journey I've had here. Master Matsumoto is an exceptional instructor whose passion for taekwondo and dedication to his students are truly inspiring. Very good Taekwondo academy in Natomas, Sacramento area to get trained and learn Taekwondo, helps kids with building confidence and learn life long skills. Master M is really good with kids. I would definitely advise joining this academy.

Family Taekwondo Academy in Natomas has been an incredible experience for my son, who started his journey at the age of 5 and is now 7 years old. Currently, he proudly wears his red-black-red belt, and his love for Taekwondo continues to grow with each passing day.The academy does an outstanding job of not only teaching self-defense but also instilling essential life values such as good behavior, parent appreciation, responsibility, discipline, and respect. These principles are seamlessly integrated into every class, making it more than just a martial arts program—it's a character-building experience. My son loves the tournaments—they're always fair, and the staff is genuinely invested in the students' growth. The academy is very supportive, accommodating any needs for both students and parents. My son has gained so much from his time at Family Taekwondo Academy. Our family joined in December of 2025 and have loved and enjoyed every class since then! The growth we've seen in our children physically and mentally and even ourselves as parents is worth the investment! We have such a great time all the time, and we love all the instructors and fellow classmates. Master Matsumoto is very accommodating and works very well with us and our kids. We always look forward to attending class every week!

I’m so grateful to have found Natomas Family Taekwondo. This Is a place where I immediately felt welcome with my family . Master Matsumoto has a lot of patience and done an excellent job teaching myself and my son. I can see he is more confident, getting independent. Especially because he spoke very little English. When we arrived here from Nicaragua he didn’t have any friends and was afraid to talk. Now He has made new friends and he is so happy about it ! What i like most is that all ages can train together, that encouraged me to join my son and have something to do together as a family. We are looking forward to getting our black belts together.
