it is difficult for me to start this review of course i have biases I love this spot. have met great people been going about 4-5 times a week just finished belt tests and everyone looked phenomenal including the kids. This is one of the few places in town that teaches 2 different lineages of Wing Chun, and only place in town to teach Bok Mei with an accredited permission from China to teach that style. I am going to break it down into Pros and nuances not necessarily cons because i don't think they are but some people might. Pros, Full Hong Kong style (Ip Mann) with knives and staff Full Foshan style (Pan Nam) with knives and staff Full Bok Mei Style 3 wooden dummies hanging punching bag Free standing punching bag Staffs are provided to use while at the facility 2 Sifus, which are direct students of Grandmaster Eddie Chong Open 6 days a week 155$ a month which i bet you Nuances, There is an Adult class and a kids class happening the same time on Mon, Wed, and Fri but are separate they have a separate instructor while the Sifu works with the adults- Concrete floors just bring shoes I use barefoot shoes to train my foot. non-militant- relaxed environment in order to facilitate inward training and relaxed power. Mondays Wednesday, and Fridays are structured deck drills, kicks, and wing Chun hand drills. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are Student lead with the Sifu teaching as you go focused on honing skills you learned and theory of movements in the forms.

Im taking wing chun here and its pretty good. Im 68.5 years but this school is helping me integrate my tai chi and other martial arts i learned earlier. Sifu is great and i cant keep up with the younger people, but learning an awful lot. I give this school my highest recommendation

Brought my daughter in for a trial lesson. According to the pictures framed on the wall, Sifu Eddie left the studio over a year ago and handed it over to Sifu Jerry and Sifu Jean-Pierre. My daughter's initial visit was with Sifu Jerry. He was very patient and attentive with her. It was a great experience for her and we hope to go back soon.

These people are amazing! Sifu Eddie is great and knows how to teach all personalities and genders. Everyone in the school is a family member and all look out for each other. This is NOT another chain martial arts school. Come prepared to learn and grow.

Eddie Chong has a good reputation which is why I was surprised to see just how many character flaws he has. I have been training in Wing Chun specifically for many years and this man disrespects the very art that he practices. He's disrespectful towards students and only cares about money. He hates "drama and politics" and yet he's always the one that starts it. He even tried to screw over the heir to the school who had been there for over 2 decades. Thankfully, he was wise enough to leave the school. He's also a bit racist towards people that are not Chinese or Asian. He'll put on a good persona though if you have the money of course. It's completely unacceptable. DO NOT go to this school. He doesn't deserve his reputation, to be called a teacher, or anyone's money. Literally, any other Wing Chun school would be better than this one. You would at least have a teacher that is genuine, humble, and embodies the art that they practice. This school is a sinking ship by his own doing and you do not want to be on board.
