Velez Martial Arts

I love the atmosphere here. We are always welcome with smiles and everyone is family here to each other. I have 8 childrens who all attend Velez Martial Arts. The instructor and everyone are so well trained that they work patiently with everyone and they never leave anyone out of the class. They make sure everyone succeed together. They make sure everyone gets a chance to perform on the mat. And we just love how funny Mr. Velez is. He always makes the room fill with laughter and joy for everyone. Mrs. Velez is the sweetest person in the world shes so understanding and very welcoming and making it very comfortable for families to be here. We love it here. We are so happy we found our Martial Arts Families.

I could never say enough about this martial arts studio! I train in kickboxing there, and my kids started taekwondo there nearly 3 years ago. The owners are a husband and wife duo, and Mr. Velez is an exceptional teacher! He somehow manages to be professional AND fun. He has a true gift for working with children. My son has autism and Mr. Velez has him assist teaching as a part of the Leadership program. My daughter absolutely adores taekwondo, yet did not enjoy any of the other sports I've put her in over the years. This place becomes like family. They are a blessing to our community, and I feel extremely fortunate that my family discovered them shortly after they opened. I cannot recommend them enough! Five stars +++++

My kids have developed so much at this school. We relocated last year and joined Velez summer 2023. We immediately felt like family. This place is truly a pillar of the community. The owners have so much passion for teaching and it's such a positive environment. My kids want to go! Thank you Velez family for all the love and support.

My daughter has been attending Velez Martial Arts for a few years now and we love going here. The staff are welcoming and friendly. We always get a warm greeting every time we come to class. Instructors are very knowledgeable and utilizes the entire class time. Each month they have a different life skill they introduce to the students. Aileen and Joey are wonderful and hardworking owners. They hold events at the dojo open to the public/community that are free throughout the year. They really care about their students and the community they serve. This is a great place to learn taekwondo, you won’t regret it!
