I mean I own a martial arts school in the area and I still bring my kids and train jujitsu here, what else is there to say 😂 1802 is great and whether it’s kids or adults your kids are going to get all the benefits of a highly qualified instructor who can even break it down for kids. I’ve seen jujitsu teachers who can’t teach kids and it hurts to watch. Watching Professor Henry teach my kiddo sold me he is the real deal. And I just all around love the training environment, great place to train!

If your looking for a family oriented but competition ready team or just a place to really get in shape through JiuJitsu then 1802 is the place for you and your kids! Started with my youngest around 2016 and still here with my oldest daughter now training!

I’m really happy with this gym: The coaches are prepared and patient. But above all there are so many for the toddlers group, so that everyone can follow them. The gym is clean and tidy. It has a large parking lot available for families and a room for parents and other expectant siblings with toys and videogames.

We love 1802 Jiu-jitsu! It’s an amazing family-run facility with a great vibe - warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. My 6-year-old daughter goes several days a week and absolutely loves it. She’s gained so much confidence (and yes, she can put anyone in a headlock now!). The professors and coaches are the best—they work so well with kids and make every class fun and engaging. Everyone we’ve met who’s come out of this studio has nothing but great things to say! Hands down, the best jiujitsu program in the area!
