Carlsbad Jiu Jitsu

Great children's program! The Professor and Coaches really care about each kid and go out of their way to teach proper technique, form and respect. My son loves being involved with the program there and he has made some great friends. He even had an incident at school where a boy came up to him and tried to choke him, with the training he got from Gracie Barra Carlsbad, my son was able to calmly remove the boys hands from his neck and remove himself from the situation. For that alone I am gracious that he is apart of the program. Many thanks to Gracie Barra Carlsbad!

I can’t say enough good things about Carlsbad Jiu-Jitsu. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and all of the professors make you feel like part of the family from day one. As someone who deals with anxiety and has always been nervous about trying something new, I was blown away by how supportive and encouraging Professor Aaron and Professor Elijah have been. They’ve created a space that’s both family-friendly and professional, offering top-tier training for all levels. I recently signed up my two youngest kids, ages 7 and 9, and the way the instructors interact with them is amazing. Every question is met with patience and kindness, and my kids genuinely look forward to every class. Whether you’re new to Jiu-Jitsu or looking for a great place to train, I couldn’t recommend Carlsbad Jiu-Jitsu more highly.

We are new to the world of Jiu Jitsu and Aaron and his team has been helpful, informative, and kind. The gym is clean, peaceful, well equipped. The coaches are excellent teachers and patient. Grateful for such an encouraging space for our family.

All I can say is WOW! Our family was on the verge of signing up with another school and fortunately found Carlsbad Jujitsu just in time. The moment we walked in, we could feel the positive energy! While we’ve only just started with the school, it’s already been an INCREDIBLE experience. Aaron runs a clean, tight, friendly and fun ship. He knows all of the students by name, is super intentional with each interaction, and is just an all around amazing human. The sign up process is simple, the membership is affordable, and the requirements are flexible. Even every fellow member we’ve interacted with has been friendly, easy to talk to, and welcoming toward our family. The environment is absolutely beautiful, filled with respect, and the ratio of instructors to students they’ve chosen also fosters true learning. I could probably write a full 5 paragraphs on how impressed we are but I’ll spare you. 😄 We are so fortunate to have found Aaron and the Carlsbad Jujitsu team!

I’ve reviewed a lot of establishments over the years and I can’t remember any more deserving of a five star review than Aaron and his team at Carlsbad Jiu Jitsu. He is a sculptor of young confident leaders… The awards and accolades speak for themselves, but the personal development of his young students is what truly stands out to me. I have enrolled all three of my sons. And so couldn’t be more happy.
