Our Experience has been one of Respect and Welcoming! I wish I could give them (HoD) 10 stars. 1st- In the past We tried to enroll our kid in swimming lessons, we made it clear about his special need, and ended up dropping them, because they would berate my child and made us feel unwelcome. 2nd- we tired gymnastics at the YMCA , and the instructor would get flustered and would act exasperated towards our child. In my opinion she did not have the patience, character, experience and or presence of mind to engage or deal with little kids. (3 to 5 y/olds) and finally 3rd- we are currently here at the House of Discipline. I can honestly say that we could not have made a better choice. We came for a trial class and immediately my son could feel the vibe and the energy. He loves it, we love it. Let me point out that we didn't even mention about his special need, but they completely embraced him for whom he is. They engage him, respect him, redirect him and guide him as needed. Let me just say that my son can be stubborn when it comes to his attention span. He tends to focus or disengage very much at a whim. he follows his own pace. There has been many moments where we keep thinking "this is it, they're gonna hate us, they're gonna be done with us, they're gonna tell us he can't come to class" but each and every one of those moments I'm proved wrong, by their generous empathic patient approach. They are teaching him to control his body and to focus his mind. I highly recommend HOD to any parent that is looking for a fun wholesome and consistent activity for their kids. Very well worth it. You'll immediately see positive changes in your mini me. Thanks to every one at HOD, especially Miss Evelyn, and Miss Star!

The House of Discipline has been a blessing to me and my family. I started off enrolling my daughter in the evening class with Mr. De La Rosa. She hated it. She cried every night for about 2 weeks. So I then joined his early morning 8am women's workout class, to show my daughter it wasn't that bad. πππ The joke was on me beause Sensei as I call him KICKED MY BUTT!!! That class was SOOO hard, I found myself crying. I didn't show fear or tears during the class but in the car I would ask myself what I was doing. I would pray before class everyday and question why I came. But the more I went and the harder he pushed the more and more I became stronger in myself knowing that my body did not control me I controlled me. I reciprocated that to my daughter as well. After 2 weeks she was EXCITED to go to class. We started taking classes in July 2024. She has been consistent since July. We are in February 2025. I slacked in November and December, but I came back January 2025. It's been real but I would not have chosen a better place to work out. Mentally, physically, and supportively House of Discipline is the place. The staff is top tier. It's definitely A FAMILY. Sensei (Mr. Dela Rosa) is tight as my mom would say, but he's RIGHT. You don't want someone who you can walk over who is helping you work out, you want someone who will help you excel to the goal you have set . House of Discipline will help you reach your potential and beyond. I saw results in a month. Consistency is key. The program that is in place for the kids is definitely one that I have never seen before. My daughter is pushed to gain not only physical knowledge but common sense and thinking skills. I teach those things but to have someone else help push those skills is SOOOO important because the schools don't do that anymore. If you need a village House of Discipline is the VILLAGE. Thank you House of Discipline for the extension of FAMILY. π

I found HOD online and signed up for a free class. We have been there 4 months and it's one of the best decisions we have done for our 16 year old son. Mr. De La Rosa is a excellent instructor/teacher/guide. All of his principles are based on respect for others and oneself. I love the philosophy he teacher our son. The training is very rigorous but the reward is worth it. My son has lost weight, gained muscle and can defend himself should he ever need too. The biggest improvement in my son is that he has gained confidence physically and mentally. Don't think about it anymore. Come and try the class and you'll see you're child flourish in all aspects of his life.

KOD is an amazing place to train for all ages and experience levels. From little kiddos to adults, this is definitely a place I would recommend coming to. I found it very affordable for my two kids and myself to train here compared to everywhere else Iβve looked into as well as the variety of martial art forms they teach. The staff are amazing and passionate in their craft and I really appreciate that this is a family/veteran business. Parents are encouraged to be a part of the experience and the lessons and teachings are valuable in itself. Donβt hesitate when it comes to HOD.

My son's grandmother pays for the class and I went to see him but they somehow got hold of some sort of surveillance Intel on me they participated in a CITY-WIDE exposure of me parents participated as well. I'm sure it is a great school that holds true to it mission statement, however their reasoning for assisting in driving a single mother crazy is still unknown to me. Although my opinion doesn't matter in these kinds of things I won't be going back. Best of luck to the business.
