Kyung Hee Taekwondo Academy

I am so lucky to have found this dojan. The classes are great, challenging and fun. The students are super friendly, Grand Master Kim and Master David are amazing teachers!

I was a previous taekwondo student before I moved to San Diego and tried out several other schools before coming to this school. I absolutely love this school. Master instructor John is an amazing teacher, extremely helpful, patient and understanding and Grand master Kim is just as amazing except he's a little more old school which is great because I feel like we need more of that. Both of them are amazing with kids as well. All of the instructors are really great! Although, The best thing about this school is the atmosphere. you can walk into this school and feel right at home, I feel as though I have a second family here. If you're still looking for a martial arts school, look no further, this is the place for you!

True to fundaments of the base tenets of the art. We live abroad and visit family in UC for extended periods. sent our kids starting at 4 y.o. to Kyung Hee and keep visiting every time we’re here. The results define the greatness of the staff:courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit. As the way commands. Kudos to the culture passed down by the elders of the academy.

This is a fantastic dojang, and I’m happy to recommend this to everyone. Master Kim is great, the other students are very friendly, and the workout is always top notch. I’ve been coming here almost three years and always look forward to my next class! Sign up, you will not regret it.

This school changed my life completely. Grand Master Kim is the most amazing teacher I ever have, he makes you feel like you are not just a customer, that you are a part of a big family. The environment is great, just positive people around and this school will make you love Taekwondo. There are classes that fit almost anyone, from little toddlers to adults (any age). I live a little far from the Academy but is totally worth it the drive. I highly recommend this school.
