Excellent Jiu Jitsu gym. The space is large, well laid out, and very comfortable for training. The front desk staff provides great service and is always friendly and attentive. The cleanliness and overall amenities of the place really stand out. One detail that truly makes a difference is the filtered water dispenser located near the tatami, which also provides ice — extremely convenient for training. Definitely a very well thought-out place for practitioners.

The legendary Legion Sunday open mat was absolutely incredible. I was a black belt visiting from out of town and looking to get some rounds in. There was a huge number of folks doing a mix of Gi and No Gi. Best of all - everyone was super respectful, welcoming, and down to get some hard work in! I can’t say enough positive things about Legion AJJ and can’t wait to come back.

Stopped by for the open mat, and had an awesome time. Such a great crowd and culture here. Would highly recommend checking them out for regular instruction or a weekend roll!

The proof is the pudding. The who’s who of jiu jitsu showing very cerebral lessons for people of all skill levels. Great teachers , great clean welcoming facilities with showers, weight room, etc. I’m from Minnesota and would travel back to San Diego just to train here. 2 thumbs up

Great gym. Down from Los Angeles for their open mat and got amazing roles. Everybody was courteous and polite. The roles were full of skill and technique, the gym was well kept, staff were incredibly polite and efficient, and overall it was an entirely positive experience. I would totally recommend coming to this place and can't wait to stop by again on my next visit.
