National City Muay Thai Academy

My daughter recently started Muay Thai at this academy in National City, and I’ve never seen her this excited to attend an activity. She genuinely looks forward to every class. She absolutely loves the coaches and the environment, and it shows in how motivated and confident she’s becoming. As a parent, it’s great to see her having so much fun while learning discipline and staying active. We couldn’t be happier with our experience so far and highly recommend it to other families.

In this Muay Thai gym, the instructors do an amazing job in teaching the fundamentals. A person without any prior skill or knowledge of Muay Thai can join. The instructors's combination of seriousness and playful attitudes is a perfect balance of fun and discipline. They do a great job in fostering an enjoyable community!

SWAMMA Muay Thai is such a fun and respectful environment. Everyone is patient and welcoming, which makes learning so much less intimidating. The instructors are always present and available whenever you have questions, and they genuinely care about your progress. They push you, but always in a positive way and for your own benefit. You can really tell they want you to improve and feel confident. Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn Muay Thai in a supportive and motivating space.

Victor, a.k.a, Bam Bam is awesome. My daughter was nervous and unsure at first, but his plan ensure my daughter she would enjoy her experience. The first session made my daughter feel comfortable and ever since she looks forward to class. Great team there.

Just based off of my first week, I sense a strong camaraderie in this program, not just from social interactions but everyone working hard and trying to get better. I assumed when I first started that I was gonna have to "catch up" to everyone's level but I personally didn't feel left behind. I think its because everyone at the gym is just focus on trying to get better and to learn more. So even though I'm still learning the basics, there's people who I think know more than I do still probably think the same way as me. We're ALL just here to learn more, we all know what it's like to start from the beginning, and we're all just trying to get better everyday. HIGHLY RECOMMEND JOINING!
