Been going to Scripps Ranch Jiu Jitsu for since they opened and have known the owner Mark Ghitman as well as black belt Geoff Real for a many years now from doing private BJJ lessons with my daughter. I am sooo happy I made the move! His knowledge of jiu jitsu is top notch. Solid instructors and great with the kids. The kids program is growing rapidly and for good reason! If youre looking for high level instruction or you're just a beginner, Scripps Ranch Jiu Jitsu is an excellent choice! Ossss! 🥋

Started bringing my kids here last summer… Professor Mark really cares about his students and their personal martial arts journey. The integrated youth Jiu Jitsu and wrestling program is one of a kind in San Diego… The kids train wrestling and Jiu Jitsu on alternating days. Top notch instructors, clean space, and awesome people. If you’re looking for a place for you or your kids to train I would totally recommend Scripps Ranch Jiu Jitsu.

Last month, I learned Gustavo Diaz Seminar. This is the second seminar. Always 100% energy. Detailed technical class based on the basics. And it contains Jiu-Jitsu's natural philosophy well. We know how humble and warm he is when he treats others. I respect him. - From kunsu park in Korea

My 12 year old son has attended different BJJ academy the last 4 years and we have finally found a home at Scripps Ranch Jiu Jitsu Academy. Professor Mark is fantastic with kids and very thorough at teaching and explaining every drills. The facility is very big and clean. We live nearby and are very fortunate this new academy just opened in Scripps Ranch. If you are looking around for a BJJ Gym for your kids, give this academy a try!! I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

My 5 year old loves his jiu jitsu class! The instructors are incredibly patient and encouraging with kids. They do a great job at breaking things down in a fun, age—appropriate way while teaching discipline and respect. Our son is getting better with coordination and gaining more confidence. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a structured and confidence building environment for their kiddos!
