Silva Jiu Jitsu Academy

Our journey with Silva Jiu-Jitsu academy has been amazing! The coaches are supportive, and the results speak for themselves, my daughter is more confident, focused, and strong. I love how family-oriented the academy is and how they truly care about building character, not just skills. We’re so grateful to be part of this community! Thank you Profe Paulo and Mrs. Mel!!! I’ve been training at the academy for a little over a year and almost 3 years for my husband. This academy has been such a blessing in our lives and we are so happy to have found our Jiu Jitsu fam! I mainly train with the ladies in the evenings and there’s always a good amount of ladies on the mats every class. Every one of our team mates are respectful and safety is always a priority! Melissa, Paul, and the other instructors are beyond amazing and have been a monumental part of our Jiu Jitsu journey. They push you to be better both on and off the mats and will really invest in you (both children & adults)! If you’re hesitant to start, don’t be. As someone who wasn’t sure about Jiu Jitsu and contact sports in general, I cannot imagine life without this place!! :) Because of their mentorship, they even got me out of my shell and I competed in my first competition!! I’m not the competitive type, but Melissa & Paul were so supportive and they made the experience so much fun! I cannot recommend this academy enough. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. This place is AWESOME!! :)

This gym is of a caliber that is rare and difficult to find. Coach Mel strikes the perfect balance between discipline, training and fun. She is encouraging, controlled, attentive, thorough, respectful and incredibly caring of all of her students. She pays close attention without being overbearing. The students are self controlled, very respectful, full of life and very skilled. The facility itself is cared for extremely well. It’s large, clean, efficient and comfortable to sit and watch class in. There is more than enough room for parents and younger siblings to wait and watch comfortably. No expense was spared and the AC during the hot summer months is very appreciated. I am so thankful to be part of the family here at Silva Jui Jitsu. This facility is the definition of QUALITY. Thank you for working so hard to teach this generation of children skills that will bless and shape their lives for good. 🙏🏼

Best decision I made for my sons to learn jiu jitsu at Silva Jiu Jitsu Academy! Very family oriented and great with kids. I’ve Tried all different sports but this is by far the best choice I made for my boys! 1 being 11 and the other being 5 yrs old. My 11 yr old has been training for 1 yr 8 months since he was 9 1/2 and he loves every minute of it. So we signed up my 5 yr old and he’s been training for about a yr and he loves it as well. Miss Mel is very good and patient and loving with the kiddos class that she teaches.

I have been training here at Silva Jiu-Jitsu Academy for More than 3 years (7,9,12) my boys love it they have great instructors coach prof and Mel. children to learn discipline while having fun and learning jiu jitsu from the best. Everyone here is so kind and welcoming. So glad to be apart of this family and team . Thank you so much for prof and mell for supporting our kids
