I've been training here as a brand new white belt and I am thoroughly enjoying it and have no complaints. The instructors have made me feel welcome during my first three months, and I appreciate the attention they've given me. I get worked hard, but everyone I've rolled with here has given me constructive feedback. Great family atmosphere. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Most importantly, the instruction is excellent. Nick, Stacy, David, Charlie, and Steve are all great martial artists, teachers, and human beings. They are focused on helping their students - no egos, self promotion, etc. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Last, there is a great vibe - a sense of community and respect for all. After looking at several places around town, Gracie Carlsbad is definitely a step above the rest. Great place for kids or adults to train.
