Clean, Wide-Equipment Variety, Recovery Equipment I've been doing personal training with Coach Jason for 8 months and going to this gym for over a year. Both experiences have been rewarding. Coach Jason is a great coach for recovery and stability work. With his help I have built up my shoulder stability and regain my ability to squat comfortably. The gym has a boxing room, yoga room, free weight area, machine area, and plenty of cardio options (sleds, tires, punching bags, stair master, skiing machines, rows, ellipticals, etc) and squat racks. The machines have new pads and the cleaning crew keeps the gym well kept. People put their weights back where they are supposed to go which is big plus if you have ever experience a gym with poor etiquette. The turf room can get crowded at times due to boxing classes making it hard to find space to stretch.

I’ve been going to UFCfit for about a year now. Completely loved going back for my personal training with Coach Jason. It’s really encouraging to have someone know your goals, respect you and hold you accountable to your journey. I’ve honestly had a new outlook on my health and wellness since starting at UFC and working out with Coach Jason, and the progress has shown that.

The amount of machines available is great. That’s honestly the only good thing about this gym. I understand there’s construction going on and you’re trying to make it look “prettier” than it already was, but nobody asked for these changes. We don’t need the walls painted red instead of blue. We don’t need the machine upholstery changed from blue to red. We don’t need more recovery options. And we definitely don’t need more machines. What we do need is better staff. Enforce a stricter no-phone policy because half the time staff are on their phones or watching TV behind the front desk when they really should be wiping down machines or putting away weights during their downtime. We also NEED the gym to be 24 hours every day. The bathrooms seriously need upgrading. That should have been the first thing worked on before tearing apart walls and changing colors. It’s the little things that make a gym nice, cleanliness, professionalism, and accessibility, not fancy equipment and pointless color changes.

It's fine. I showed up tonight at 8:00 supposed to be open till 10:00. It's closed. This is the second time in 6 weeks it's happened. It's super frustrating when I'm expecting to work out but find a closed gym. Saturdays are insane and impossible no matter what time of the day you come. All the machines are taken, and regardless of gender, people have no clothes on or the smallest possible clothes they can find. I'm sure that's fine for some people, it's not my preference to have men in speedos and women in shorts with their labia out doing squats beside my face. I don't want to see it... it's a public space. The air conditioning doesn't seem to work, so it's very hot, stinky and uncomfortable when it's hot outside. I've gone into the group fitness room to find people practicing and recording their salsa routine, complete with the outfits and high heels. Again, location is good, it's clean , and the price is fine. You can make it work Sunday through Friday, just don't expect them to be open the hours they say they're open. Today a trainer brought two clients he was training to work out at the squat rack right beside me. He asked me if he could take a weight. He and the others then proceed to take any and all of the weights from the rack i am actively using. I then have to ask the people on the rack beside me to borrow theirs. They were lifting light enough and the gym wasn't very busy... they could have used free weights in a different part of the gym, but instead chose to disrupt my workout. I felt crowded, disregarded and disrespected. I haven't even seen a gym-goer with this much of a lack of etiquette. I keep trying to find a gym where people have etiquette. It seems impossible. Lastly, staff sitting at desks with their feet up, carrying on loud cussing conversations about the football games they're watching. Not only is it unprofessional and distracting, but may also be a contributing factor as to why there is no standard of behavior for gym staff or guests.
