United States Karate Academy has been an incredible experience for our school community. Master DLC has provided karate demonstrations twice for all of the students at Florence Elementary, and each visit has been outstanding. I observed him skillfully teach students of all abilities how to kick and punch, with a strong emphasis on discipline, respect, listening, and self-control. What truly stands out is the calm, structured, and engaging way Master DLC conducts his classes. He connects with students immediately, sets clear expectations, and reinforces positive behavior throughout the lesson. Our students were fully engaged and genuinely excited to participate. Something else that impressed me greatly was how intentionally he builds confidence in students—especially those who may be hesitant or need extra encouragement—while maintaining high standards for behavior and effort. His instruction goes far beyond physical skills; it reinforces character, focus, and perseverance. We are grateful for his partnership and highly recommend United States Karate Academy to any school or family looking for a program rooted in both skill and values.

The instructors from United States Karate Academy who visited our elementary school were highly knowledgeable and did an excellent job engaging with the students. They made karate fun while playing games and teaching essential physical skills such as kicks and punches, and they also focused on important life lessons like safety, listening, respect, and enjoying the experience. We would absolutely recommend their karate school to anyone interested in learning the art and look forward to inviting USKA back to our elementary school again.

The instructors from United States Karate Academy that came to our elementary school were very knowledgeable and worked very well with the students. Along with teaching the students the physical kicks and punches, they emphasized life lessons like being safe, paying attention, having fun and showing respect. Also I really liked their emphasis on Karate being about self defense and not about fighting. We will definitely invite USKA to come back to our elementary school.

My son is thriving at US Karate Academy! All of the instructors genuinely care about the kids, and it shows in the way they teach, encourage, and support them. They’ve been incredibly accommodating with my schedule, which I truly appreciate. I love and enjoy the activities we do together as a family,, too! From Padres games to hikes—this keeps the kids and parents enaged , active, and close. I’m looking forward to the months and years ahead watching my son grow here. USKA is not just a place to learn - it’s a place that feels like a community. That’s special!

United States Karate Academy came out to our center, working with our kids that have ASD. Mr. F facilitated the class and did a fantastic job engaging the kids of different levels and ensuring each kid was included.
