My daughter, who is almost 10 years old and rarely wants to do any activities (soccer, basketball, swimming, gymnastics), started Judo in October 2024. Surprisingly she enjoys it and hasn't asked to stop. She's exercising, learning, and having fun. The teachers and students are great. It seems safer than BJJ because she didn't get her neck cranked on the first day. I normally stay outside watching her practice. It looked like fun, and I thought maybe I should try Judo again after 15 years off. So I saved up and joined myself. It's a great workout; you can go as hard or soft as you want. Everyone is nice and helpful, and upper belts have great knowledge and control. The Sensei is patient and awesome to learn from.

I started coming here recently and have had a great experience. Everyone is friendly and the class structures are very accessible for all ages and skill levels. I've been lifting weights for most of my life and wanted to change up my routine a bit. Incorporating Judo and BJJ into my fitness routine have been great. 510 Judo has been great for my fitness but also connecting with a great community.

I am aa brown belt from Coach Mitch Palacio who teaches Judo at CCSF and I teach Judo at F3 Jiu Jitsu in Oakland. I’ve been teaching other martial arts since 91. 510Judo has a great kids and adults program. I was happy to see folks at all levels playing and learning together. When it comes to developing real skill it’s critical to have a space of safety and play when learning, exploring, and refining throwing techniques.Judo can be the most injurious of martial arts, this is a place where folks can learn these skills in a safe and fun way. I highly recommend training there. For higher level Judoka looking for a fun place to play it’s worth checking out.

I started taking lessons here about a month and half ago and have been really enjoying them. Classes usually have around 5 to 10 students in them, which is a good mix of not-too-small and not-too-large. There's a good variety of times for adult classes so it's not too hard to find something that'll fit your schedule. All of the instructors are skilled at teaching, and everybody's welcoming and friendly. The dojo itself is well padded and clean, and parking has always been easy, too.
