ABADA-Capoeira San Francisco

We simple love ABADA capoeira SF. Our son started at 5yo and now at 8 he is becoming a true capoeirista. The instructors and staff has so much dedication and fun with those kids. Our son has been developing so many different skills. He is stronger, has discipline, great control of moves, recently an amazing drummer while learning so much about art, culture and the history of capoeira. ABADA capoeira has also a strong sense of community and is highly diverse. We definitely recommend it!

I've been coming here since 5 months ago. And one of the things that kept me going back is the community. They made me feel part of the family from day 1. I also learned that capoeira is also a holistic martial arts, in the sense that not only do you practice kicks and dodging but also singing and playing instruments. Add to that the passion of the group and it becomes a pretty intense and stimulating experience. And unlike other studios, the teacher here is one of the highest ranked overall and highest ranked female capoeirista in the world. Highly recommend this studio to everyone.
