I went to Bay Area Boxing for about a year before moving out of state and it was the best fitness experience I've had in my adult life! Everyone was beyond friendly, the facility was really nice and always clean, and the owner and managers were always extremely helpful. I joined on a whim because I needed a new fitness routine, and I'm so glad I picked this place as my first kickboxing gym! I'm hooked and now looking for new gyms in my area that will be of the same standard and with the same type of community. I HIGHLY recommend Bay Area Boxing for any beginners or vets to kickboxing/boxing/MMA.

Been at this gym for almost 3 years and have loved it since! Not only did I get in incredibly and noticeable good shape within a few months, I also learned a lot about boxing from the coaches who take the time to explain everything with care. I stayed 6 months longer in the Bay Area just to continue being at this gym. 10/10 recommend if you want to burn a lot of calories, get in shape fast and learn the art of fighting! Sucks that I had to leave this amazing gym but made many friends along the way.

Really love this boxing gym, can't say enough about the coaches, owners, and the community here. This was my first boxing gym and I came in with zero experience. Jake and the team were super welcoming, I was having fun in my first class and I've been going ever since. The energy in this place is great, plenty of begginers so you're never the only one, and plenty of folks with a lot of experience that you can learn from. Solid vibes, great coaching, good equipment - you'll have fun and learn a lot. Side note: All the coaches I've worked out with are great, but Michael, Alexey, and Troy particularly stand out.

This is like my second home. Joined back in 2013. Jake D. and his crew are top notch. The upgrade in equipment and new tech makes gym days a blast. Muay thai fundamentals with Phil really hone in my punching and kicking. I can then practice them on the heavy bag during Brady's kickboxing class. If I want a HIIT style bag workout, Mo gets the job done and has hype music to boot. They offer kid self defense classes too! Whether you want to lift weights, spar or roll on the mats - this place has it all. My health and well being thank you.

The best place to train in the Bay Area. I have been training for many years and Bay Area Boxing is the best place to train. I really enjoy the diversity of classes, the people, as well the management team. Phillip Mendoza is one of the best Muay Thai instructors I have ever met. Definitely recommend anyone who is interested in real-world and practical martial arts training or just wants get in shape to go to Bay Area Boxing.
