Best boxing gym in SF. Kind ownership, attentive coaches, hard workouts. Also, a good place for women to explore and grow in the sport.

This has been my first time boxing and I love each class more than the last. I’ve taken classes with each of the different instructions over the past 2 months at Bay Breakers, and everyone is so nice and will help you according to your skill level. Besides a great workout, you always get individualized attention and correction. The classes are small (under 10 people), and I feel comfortable and safe as a woman in the environment Dan and Abbe have created. Thank y’all!!! :)

Love this spot. I'm able to understand and practice the basics as much as I want. The ambience is also great, usually good background music and the instructors know their stuff and have been a great resource.

I’ve been a member for a few months and I’m so happy to have found Bay Breakers! Each instructor has a little bit of a different teaching style, which means you’ll get something fresh from each class you take. It’s always a little nerve-racking to try something new, but they’re so welcoming those nerves don’t last long. Although martial arts in general are very male dominated there have always been several women kicking ass in my class or doing more advanced training, and that really rocks.
