Awesome little gym. Instructor was very smart and detail oriented. Overall the gym had a great culture and sense of humor - their custom rule sets for in house tournaments sounded hilarious. I stopped in on vacation and was welcomed as though I'd been training there for years. Everyone I trained with no matter what their belt level approached the roll as a mutual chance to have fun and learn, not kill the new guy. I loved the collaborative relationship you could see the instructor had with his students as they felt through different reactions and positions in the lesson. Mat was clean. Bathroom and multiple changing rooms available on site. No showers.

Real passion for martial arts instruction from the sensei. You feel the lifelong passion in his words of encouragement for his students. Accessible classes for all skill levels. Very inviting and supportive environment. Can’t wait to return next week!!

Fantastic kids program. Teachers are very patient but also have appropriate level of discipline to keep the kids focused. My daughter got her yellow belt here before the pandemic hit. The program focuses on basic things like lining up in belt order (amazing at what this does to help kids listen at school), then staying in order during the warmup, and finally learning the moves with partners respectfully. Huge thank you to the instructors for putting such a great program together.

An excellent place to go if you have never taken a bjj class and want to start(Since I’m new that’s what I’m reviewing). The beginner classes are very educational, thought out and engaging. I felt welcomed immediately. I’ve had classes with Reilly, Stephen, and Cassidee and they were all fantastic. They all have unique styles but all with the same outcome to help you learn.
