Love this place! Small group classes, most led by the owner Daivya who is the perfect blend of enthusiastic but also motivating + challenging coach. She makes the classes super fun, and before I know it, the workout is done and we crushed it.

Hands down the best gym in SF! Daivya, the owner/teacher, is upbeat, fun, creative, and encouraging. Each class is unique and challenging in its own way. Daivya encourages the class to push through the hard work to get stronger. The music is also great! If you’re thinking about trying it out, you absolutely should!!! Can’t recommend BODY enough!!

I randomly walked past BODY in the Castro and decided to peek inside—Daivya, the owner, welcomed me in and invited me to try a class. I’m so glad I said yes! It was my first-ever boxing class, and it was incredible. Daivya is such an inspiring and supportive instructor—she made me feel comfortable as a beginner while pushing me to give it my all. I left absolutely drenched in sweat, but also smiling ear to ear. The energy in the studio is amazing—fun, challenging, and full of community vibes. I can’t wait to come back and keep learning!

Daivya provides individualized feedback during classes, and these adjustments make a huge difference to how effectively you hit your muscles. She also leads prenatal and postnatal classes which are a rarity between the marina and noe, and she has a level of expertise with how to accommodate prenatal/postnatal that I haven’t found with other studios

I only found BODY. recently, and I'm kicking myself for not trying it out before because it's AMAZING. The owner, Daivya, is motivating, welcoming, kickass, fun, and super knowledgeable. There are a many of different small group classes available - from Fight Club, Step, Low body Impact, Total Body Reset, Glutes & Core, Deep Stretch & Mobility and more! Those are the ones I've tried so far and I'm always impressed with the variety, difficulty, and playlist! Daivya is great at giving adjustments and pushing you to be better. Some exercise classes you just go in, get the workout in, and leave - but Daivya is a natural at building community and relationships with all. So thankful to have found BODY! My star rating: 5 ⭐ - I would be a regular customer 4 ⭐- would go back again 3 ⭐ - probably try a different place 2 ⭐ - not very satisfied 1 ⭐ - turnaround and run
