Best MMA gym in the Bay Area without question. Walked into the school with hardly any training and told Zhong I wanted to compete some day. 8+ years at Dragon House and now I'm a pro MMA fighter. I have met so many people at DH that are my family now because that's the type of community Zhong fosters here. He expects us to look out for one another like family and treat the gym like it's their own home. Clean, respected, and orderly. A place that provides something for anyone. Whether you wanna be a fighter, learn self defense, or learn a new skill for your own piece of mind, this is the best martial arts school you could come to. Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu (gi and no gi), MMA sparring, Kickboxing, and Kung Fu. All under one roof, run by a dedicated coach and a variety of training partners who come every night to better themselves and help and encourage each person to reach their goals as well. I feel fortunate training here and look forward to representing this school for many more years.

I’ve been training at Dragon House for about three years now, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. From day one, I came in with the intention of competing, and Sifu Zhong Lou has been an incredible coach, mentor, and teacher throughout that journey. Under Sifu’s guidance, I’ve not only developed my martial arts skills, but I’ve also grown a lot in terms of mindset and approach to life. His lessons go far beyond the mat, and the way he pushes us in training carries over into everyday challenges. I can confidently say I’m a better martial artist in my jiu-jitsu, wrestling, and striking because of the training here. Sifu is a genuinely amazing person who has helped many people improve themselves, both physically and mentally, and I’m truly grateful for everything he’s done for me. The environment at Dragon House is serious, hardworking, and supportive – a great place for anyone who wants to grow. If you’re interested in learning martial arts, testing yourself, or even competing one day, I highly recommend checking out Dragon House. At the end of the day, you have to decide what you want for yourself – you only get out what you’re willing to put in.

I’ve never been to the gym, but i had a friend of mine get assaulted bare knuckle during a wrestling match by one of the pros. very sad that the owner took no accountability, and admitted that the pro has had aggression issues with newer patrons and alcohol problems. Needless to say, I won’t be dropping in.

I came across this gym on instagram where one of their female fighters Victoria was insulting people in her comment section; if your gonna make a public post then people have the right to comment. Seems like this gym teaches how to have an ego rather then technique?

A friend of mine recently got punched during wrestling training sessions. As a pro MMA fighter(the one who punched my friend), you already know you should hold composure at all times with anyone. Don't recommend, unsafe place unless you wanna get hurt. It's not worth getting hurt when you're the one paying for the membership. Tell that guy to fix his issues
