Sensei Tomiyama is caring, knowledgable, and thorough. The community is inclusive and active. You will learn a lot more than seek defense at this dojo as push yourself. You will discover more about your body, about control, and about yourself. You are not here to fight against your opponent, you are here to humbly learn from them. Osu! This is a great place for children and adults alike.

This is a great karate dojo for all levels and ages! Sensei Tomiyama is dedicated, patient and top level in his craft. Classes are well structured as technique, fitness, and mental focus are all part of it. Community is wonderful - everyone is nice and respectful to each other. I highly recommend this place!

Enshin Karate SF is an excellent karate gym. A great place to learn full contact karate from a former Sabaki World Champion who has also trained World Champions himself. The method of teaching is effective, respectful and appropriately strict. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who would like to learn karate properly.

Naohiro Tomiyama sensei is a fantastic teacher who dedicated his life to karate. Coming from shotokan karate myself, the style of enshin is quite different, and I particularly enjoy the focus on full contact training. Every member of our community is very welcoming, and whatever your age or physical condition might be, there is a place for everyone here.

Enshin Karate is fantastic! Highly recommend it for both adults and kids. Sensei Tomiyama is a disciplined master of his craft, and he's also incredibly warm and attentive to each student. The dojo is a balanced mix of kids and adults and has a positive atmosphere; the classes are well-structured and challenging, offering a great workout and practical self-defense skills.
