I love it here! Modesto Judo Club has shown me that I have more potential than I ever would have imagined! Sensei Hunnell and Senpai Clayton are so helpful and knowledgeable. This club is such a fun welcoming environment! Also be sure to watch their YouTube videos for very informative content! My daughter and niece are also in the kids class and they love it! The class has taught them a lot of discipline and respect and they have so much fun learning with their peers! Modesto Judo Club really has something for everyone! Come try it out! Modesto Judo Club is a great place to train! I started my kids there and later started training myself. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, laid-back vibe with friendly staff and friendly parents that also make you feel welcome. At the same time, they teach discipline and technical Judo. Sensei Hunnel is a blackbelt and teaches the adult classes and also does No-gi/grabbling classes a couple days/wk. Senpai Clayton teaches the kids and he is a great mix of fun and seriousness; he has a great style of teaching and a positive approach for the kiddos; he is also a black belt. Another plus, is they invite everyone who wants to compete in tournaments and provide great coaching support. We love being a part of Modesto Judo Club!

This is an amazing judo place! The coaches are very professional, patient, and supportive. They focus on discipline, respect, and proper technique. The environment is friendly and safe. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn judo.
