My son has been training here for about a year and half and we just love it! Professor Mario is fantastic and has the perfect blend between discipline and fun for the kids. We tried some other studios first and we knew from the first class this was the place for us.

Our experience at Busy BJJ has been absolutely fantastic! My 6- and 8-year-olds have been training here for several months, and the growth we’ve seen in both their skills and confidence is incredible. The coaches are outstanding — they’re patient, knowledgeable, and know exactly how to connect with kids. They strike the perfect balance between discipline and fun, creating an environment where my kids feel encouraged to challenge themselves while still having a great time. What I love most is how the gym emphasizes not just technique, but also respect, teamwork, and perseverance. I was concerned that it might be an atmosphere toxic masculinity and it's not at all. My kids are learning valuable life skills along with their jiu jitsu training, and they come home excited to show us what they’ve learned. The facility is clean, well-organized, and welcoming to families. The staff genuinely cares about each student’s progress, and it’s clear they’re passionate about what they do. If you’re looking for a supportive and professional environment where your kids can thrive, I can’t recommend Professor Mario and his team at Busy Bee enough!

I’ve been at Busy BJJ for 2-3 years now. The community is the biggest thing that keeps me coming back! The training is the second thing that keeps me hooked. The people are just good people. They meet you where you are: in shape or out, older or younger, experienced or inexperienced. They truly come alongside you and celebrate every type of learner. The confidence and discipline you grow is powerful. If you are looking to learn a new skill, train your body, meet friendly, uplifting people, instill routine, and create healthy habits, this gym is a great place. (I don’t compete, but there are people here that do. And there are great coaches for that if that is your motivation) Note: unlike other gyms that are aggressive out the gate, in this gym everyone helps each other and goes as slowly as a new person chooses.
